Oh Happy Day...

Well I really have a lot to blog about, but as usual I really don't have time (or energy) to do it right now. But I have to stop and wish the kids the HAPPIEST ANNIVERSARY yet.

I guess this is what we would call a milestone. I can not believe it has been five years. H-A-P-P-Y A-N-N-I-V-E-R-S-A-R-Y!!!! And many, many more.

I know things are busy, but please take time to appreciate each other and enjoy the pleasure of finding someone special to spend your life with.

New Semester...

We are about to begin our new Fall 2007 semester. Normally this would mean new students and perhaps some new personnel here and there around campus.

But this semester is going to be very, very different. Yes new semester but so much more. We have a new dean (there are several new deans on campus). And approx 8 new teachers; one in our division, and new software, new textbook, new phone system, new building, new Financial aid debit cards, new management, and new names for all the buildings, a new mission statement, a new vision and all in all, ..a new feeling here on campus.

For those of us who go with the flow It is not too bad, actually kind of exciting; but for the others who resist change, oh boy what a semester it is going to be.

And life goes on

Yesterday was 6 months that my brother passed away. Even now, it doesn't seem possible that he has taken that journey to the other side.

He seems to be touching us more now then when he was here on this earth. We think of him everyday. We see him in many, many things throughout the home and beyond.

And I guess that old saying is true... sometimes you don't appreciate something until it is gone. Lesson learned... appreciate the ones that are here in our life while they are still with us.
